Testimonials

“Rose has over 25-years experience in all aspects of the art industry, so partnering with her and being able to benefit from her expertise is a total win. After a few meetings, we honed-in on the message I wanted to convey and what I wanted to achieve with my website, as well as how it directly relates to my body of work. I can’t tell you how please I am with the results., The improvements directly reflect my vision!

Since finishing my website, I’ve had countless conversations with artists, curators and collectors regarding the content and the feedback has been incredibly positive. I highly recommend Rose and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would’ve done without her artistic eye and expertise.”

“Rose has been a steadying force in helping me to navigate the challenging waters of the art world. She has been unwavering in finding ways to open doors in her many spheres of influence…doors to galleries that now represent my work, to important art shows and exhibit opportunities, to collaborative relationships with other artists, and to a broadening network of supportive collectors. I am forever grateful for Rose and her genuine commitment to understanding and guiding artists at every stage of their careers through her gifts of insight, empathy, and vast practical experience.”

“I value and trust our relationship. It means a lot to me. After a long period of not painting, Rose encouraged my very fragmented starts and fledgling ideas, seeing in them possibilities even when I could not. I had been immobilized with grief–everything had changed. I had changed. My work was painful and in scraps. Rose came to my studio, her empathy, keen eyes and insight that day kept me going.

Rose understands the underpinnings and roots of my work. I am sure there are many, many artists with as many unique perspectives and personal voices who say the same thing.”

“Clarity in the contemporary comprehension of the art world like no other I’ve met from beginning to end, blended with a mastery of business skills in the complexities and nuances needed to make it all a fabulous experience.”

“Imagine an old man and a young woman, a passionate conversation. The old man: American aritst and art icon Wayne Thiebaud. The young woman: intelligent, insightful, engaging writer and conversationalist Rose Fredrick. The subject is art.

Rose brings love, knowledge, and organization to the subject of art and artists. Now, and for more than 15 years, Rose has been friend, corroborator, collaborator, and enthusiast. We share a passion for creativity and the unique personalities that bring art into our lives, Rose is simply the best at engaging artists in conversation.”

“I’ve worked with Rose now for years as a participant in the Coors Western Art Show. As a contemporary western themed artist, Rose took a chance on me and my creative vision. She became a huge catalyst to my art career. Not only has she guided me through the world of collectors and galleries, she has advised me on pricing and the art market. Overall, I am so grateful for Rose’s professionalism and friendship.”

“I recently read a draft of a book Rose had written about a prominent artist. When I finished, I felt Rose had encapsulated this risk-taking, fun-loving, hard-working, and extremely talented man so well I wanted to ask him over for dinner.

It strikes me that Rose Fredrick is a conductor, not of music, but of words. Like a conductor listening to each instrument, Rose pays such attention to her clients that she understands not only what they want to say, but how they want to say it.

While I was thinking about Rose and the verbal music she produces, I looked back at some of the work Rose has either written or shepherded through. Different subjects, different people. And yet, the same wonderful arrangement runs through all of them. The author, the artist, whomever she’s working with, they all come alive with their own clear voices. The same melody plays through in the shows Rose curates. Interested in “Western” art? The Coors Western Art Exhibit at the National Western Stock Show combines beautiful traditional pieces with exciting new ways of expressing an artist’s vision. Diverse voices blended into one song of Western art.

Rose describes herself as a writer, editor, curator, strategist, and art professional. She should have mentioned her expertise in these areas. Her years of studying art, of being part of the art world, have given her a radar—an insight— that bores directly into the subject. Read her interview with the artist Wayne Thiebaud. At the end, I knew more about Thiebaud and was more moved by his eloquence than if I had read pages of critiques on his life and work.

Lastly, on a personal note, my husband, the artist Mark Daily, has been associated with Rose for decades. After all the years and all the shows, I asked Mark to describe Rose. His gave her one of his highest compliments: “She respects high-quality art across the spectrum, and she respects the artists.” It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to have travelled together.”

“Wow, thank you for such straight forward, no nonsense marketing wisdom from your Marketing for Artists class. You have a great ability to help artists drill down to find the personal nugget that is meaningful and resonant. I find myself continually re-assessing how I am presenting myself; is it authentic? am I honest? what is the art about?”

“What a privilege it has been to work with Rose! Her wealth of knowledge, insight, honesty, and professionalism have made a huge difference in how I view myself as an artist. I so admire her generosity of spirit! That she takes time from her very busy schedule to be helpful to artists in varying stages of their career proves her profound commitment to the visual art world. Thank you, Rose!”
